We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Monica Dueñas as the new Principal of Atlantic Montessori Charter School. With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Dueñas brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our school community.
Dr. Dueñas has a distinguished career as a K-12 educator, where she was honored as a Florida High Impact Teacher, recognized for her dedication to student success and innovative teaching methods. Her recent role as an administrator in higher education allowed her to excel in training beginning teachers, developing cutting-edge curriculum and programs, and leading successful grant initiatives to support educational growth.
Holding three degrees in Education from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Dueñas is an expert in Organizational Leadership, and she is passionate about fostering an environment of continuous improvement and excellence. She is eager to collaborate with our talented faculty and staff to build on our school’s strong foundation and achieve even greater success in the year ahead.
