Atlantic Montessori is a public charter school dedicated to serving the children and families of our community. Our Pines campus offers programs for Kindergarten through Third Grade, while our West campus serves Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students.

Parent Volunteer Information

 
Parent Volunteer Program At Atlantic Montessori Charter School, we strongly believe that parent involvement is essential to the success of our school community. We encourage all parents and guardians to actively participate in the school’s activities by contributing a total of thirty (30) volunteer hours per school year. Volunteer opportunities are regularly communicated through our monthly newsletter, email updates, or directly by the classroom teacher. Please note that it is the responsibility of parents and guardians to track and log their volunteer hours. We appreciate your ongoing support and commitment to enriching the educational experience for all students.

Matriculation and Enrollment Information

Applications for admission to Atlantic Montessori Charter School for the upcoming school year are now being accepted for the following grade levels:

  • Pines Campus: Kindergarten through 3rd grade
  • Davie Campus: Kindergarten through 5th grade

Application Process:

Parents may submit applications online via our website at www.AtlanticMontessoriCharter.com. A random lottery will be held to determine admission if the number of applicants exceeds the number of available spaces.

  • Application Window: January 8th through March 31st each year.
  • Lottery Date: April 1st. The lottery will only be conducted if the number of applicants exceeds available spots.
  • Important Note: If you participate in the lottery, there is no need to submit additional applications. If you are applying for a sibling of a currently enrolled student, please submit a separate application for the sibling. Preference will be given to applicants with siblings already attending the school.

Age Requirements:

  • Kindergarten: Applicants must be 5 years old on or before September 1st.
  • 1st Grade: Applicants must be 6 years old on or before September 1st.

Notification of Admission:

Parents will be notified if their child has been offered admission. Further instructions on completing the registration packet will be provided upon acceptance.
